Today’s Puchaczówka is a Restaurant with a Tavern, a Guesthouse and a Villa

Since the beginning of the 19th century, a very popular inn with an added hut called Puhu Baude existed in our neighborhood. The inn survived the wars intact, but unfortunately it was dismantled in 1948.

Today’s Puchaczówka is a Restaurant with a Tavern, a Guesthouse and a Villa offering hospitality to visitors from Poland and all over the world as well as to the local community.

Our Restaurant and Tavern were built in 2005 by Highlanders (Górale) from Beskidy mountains, who used purely traditional methods, without the help of cranes. The building was created from local spruce logs and was traditionally “mossed” – sealed with natural wooden wool – and covered with a wooden roof. The inspiration for the project came from the surrounding forests and mountains.

In the following years, the Guesthouse and Villa were built, which accommodate more than 100 guests in their comfortable rooms.
Our guests enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Puchaczowka is surrounded by woods full of mushrooms, scenic hiking and biking trails, mountain space, beautiful views and peaceful villages.

Downhill skiing enthusiasts will appreciate the immediate vicinity of the Czarna Góra mountain – one of the largest and best organized ski resorts in Poland.

Forest and mountains are right outside Puchaczówka – take a deep breath of fresh mountain air! We are looking forward to see you!
