Puchaczówka is a great starting point for exploration of the numerous tourist attractions in the area.
It’s a short trip to the neighboring Czech Republic as well as to the native places, which are a must when visiting the Kłodzko Valley.
Nearby you will find the oldest spa in Europe – Lądek Zdrój. Older than the famous Baden-Baden, it’s a place where you can enjoy various relaxing treatments and therapeutic hot baths.
It is worthwhile to see the Bear Cave in Kletno and set off for a gold seeking adventure in Złoty Stok’s mines.
In the summer time, you can go hiking or cycling to Śnieżnik, Międzygórze or to the Igliczna mountain, reigned by Maria Snieżna chapel at the summit.
In winter Sienna transforms into skiers’ and snowboarders’ mecca. The ski resort Czarna Góra offers over 10 km of ski runs as well as 10 lifts, including a 1400 metres long cable car, which runs all year round.

Sienna
Czarna Góra ski resort, beautiful view from the wooden observation tower and for the persistent hikers ascend to the Śnieżnik summit to try the legendary apple pie with blue berries in the 140 years old shelter.
Kletno
You can visit the beautifully illuminated Bear Cave during a 40 minute guided tour. It’s also worthwhile to see the Earth Museum with a small dinosaur park.
Stara Morawa
Lime kiln called “Łaskawy Kamień” with a Japanese Garden, Piramid, Foucalt Pendulum and artistic print atelier. Guarded swimming pool with sandy beach, landings and lookout tower. Fishing ground.
Lądek Zdrój
Swimming pools, park with playground, delicious cakes in the Albrechtshalle cafe, curative water pump and naturopathic treatments in XVII century spa „Wojciech”.
Radochowska Cave
It is the second biggest cave in the Sudety mountains. A bonus attraction is a passage through thin slits of the cave with the assistance of a professional tour guide.
Borówkowa Mountain
A summit at the Polish-Czech border in the Golden Mountains (Góry Złote) overlooking a spectacular panorama. The summit’s location fostered the organization of the 1980’s opposition meetings.
Maria Śnieżna
A shrine located at the very top of Igliczna Mountain. The late baroque temple from the end of the 18th century was visited three times by the pope John Paul II, who crowned the statue of Our Lady.
Javornik
The castle of Jánský Vrch towering over the town was built as a summer residence for the bishops of Wrocław. The castle is one of the best preserved buildings of this type in the Moravian-Silesian region.
Zamek na Skale
The castle is a wonderful example of the unifying Europe. It used to be ruled by the most splendid Slavic, Prussian, Welsh and French families. Park complex and a restaurant.
Międzygórze
Wilczki Falls – the second largest waterfall in the Sudetes is 22 metres high. Fairy Tales Garden – the route of the red or yellow dwarf is accessible for strollers.
Złoty Stok
Gold mine with ravine and underground illuminated waterfall, Medieval Technology Park and Rope Course “Skalisko” with the longest and highest zip lines in Europe!
Kłodzko
Fortress Kłodzko (German: Festung Glatz) – well preserved, large defensive fortress from the 17th and 18th centuries. It consists of a unique network of 40 km of underground labyrinths.
Szczytna
Ice rink, rope course and climbing wall, bicycle track, “bathing” fountain, chess and a large modern playground
Polanica Zdrój

Bardo
St. Mary Shrine with the 12th-century wooden figurine of Our Lady. Two calvaries with interesting chapels. Rafting down the Nysa Kłodzka gorge among rocks, forests and meadows.
Dolni Morava
Opened in 2015, Sky Walk is a Walk in the Clouds over a 55-metre-high tower on the Slamnik slope at an altitude of 1116 metres above sea level. Excellent views and amazing emotions.
Żamberk, Czech republic
Outdoor aqua park Pod Černým Lesem. The local brewery Żamberk produces excellent unfiltered Kanec beer made from water, malt, yeast and hops – the beer is served in Puchaczówka.
Zamek Broumov
A jewel of the peak of the baroque period and the Czech National Cultural Monument. Benedictine monastery from the 14th century. It is also worthwhile to see a copy of the Turin Shroud, mummies and the cellars.
